Book Agility is an online platform based in the UK, where users can list dog agility and hoopers events, and other users can book those events. We act only as a facilitator between event organisers and participants. We do not organise or run events ourselves. The contract for the provision of the event lies solely between the seller (whether event organiser or reseller) and the buyer (participant).

1. General Conditions

• Eligibility: You must be at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence to use our platform. If you are under the legal age, you must have consent from a parent or guardian.

• Usage Restrictions: You agree not to use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose, including, but not limited to, using the site for unauthorized bookings, spamming, or distributing malicious software.

• Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruptions or errors arising from these changes.

• Third-party Tools and Links: Our platform may include third-party links or tools. We do not monitor or control these tools and are not responsible for any content, products, or services provided by these third parties.

2. Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness of Information

However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of all listings, event details, or descriptions provided by sellers. Participants must verify all event details directly with the seller before booking.

• We do not assume responsibility for any errors or inaccuracies that may occur and recommend that you consult primary sources for important decisions.

3. Booking and Payments

• Booking Process: When you book an event through our platform, the contract for the event is formed directly between the event organiser (the seller) and you (the participant). Book Agility is not a party to this contract.

• Admin Fees: We charge an administrative site fee for each booking made through the platform, which is included in the total price shown at checkout, paid by the buyer. This fee helps us cover platform maintenance, support, and development costs. We reserve the right to change the admin fee, and any changes will apply to future bookings. • Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed via a third-party payment provider. We use Stripe, a leading payment processor, to handle all transactions on our platform. By making a payment, you agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms, Conditions, Agreements and Policies which govern the processing of payments and payouts. If you list or sell tickets or events through our platform, you must create or connect a Stripe Express Account in order to receive payouts. This onboarding process is securely handled by Stripe and may require you to provide personal or business details, identity verification, and bank account information. Stripe is responsible for verifying your account and managing payouts. Payouts to sellers are made directly by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s own processing times, eligibility requirements, and verification procedures. Book Agility does not handle or hold seller funds and is not responsible for the timing or approval of payouts. If you fail to complete or maintain your Stripe Express account, you may not be able to receive payments for any sales made on the platform.

4. Event Listings

• Event listings and descriptions are submitted by the sellers, and Book Agility does not verify or guarantee the quality, accuracy, safety, or suitability of any listed event. We accept no responsibility for the outcome of any event or any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in an event.

• You agree that any issues or complaints regarding event content, safety, or organisation must be directed to the event organiser, not Book Agility.

• You agree not to list spaces for sale more than 12 calendar months in advance.

5. Cancellation, Refunds, and Changes

• Bookings: Once a booking is confirmed, Book Agility cannot make changes, cancellations, or issue refunds. All post-booking changes or cancellations must be arranged directly with the event organiser.
• Seller-Initiated Cancellations: If an event is cancelled by the seller or if there is a material issue with the listing (e.g. overselling, incorrect key information), the seller is expected to offer a refund to affected buyers, in accordance with consumer protection laws. Sellers are responsible for resolving these situations directly with the buyer.
• Non-Refundable Fees: Book Agility charges a non-refundable platform service fee at the time of booking. Stripe (or other payment processors) may also deduct non-refundable transaction fees. In the event of a seller-issued refund, these fees may not be recoverable.
• Ticket Transfers: If you are unable to attend an event, you may be able to transfer or resell your ticket, depending on the organiser’s policies.

6. Personal Data and Privacy

• Privacy Policy: Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. By using the site or making a booking, you consent to our use of your data as outlined in the policy.

• Data Sharing: When you book an event, you agree that your contact information will be shared with the seller for the purpose of managing your booking. Similarly, the seller will share their contact information with you.

7. Liability Disclaimer

• Limitation of Liability: We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, nor do we warrant that it will be error-free. We are not liable for any interruptions, delays, or damages arising from the use of the website or the events listed. We shall not be responsible for, and will not compensate for, any loss, damage, cost, or expense resulting from software glitches, technical malfunctions, data errors, or issues with third-party services, including but not limited to payment processors.

• Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for any third-party content linked to or displayed on our platform, including but not limited to event details, prices, or external websites.

8. Prohibited Uses

In addition to other prohibitions listed in these Terms, you are prohibited from:

• Violating any laws, including intellectual property rights.

• Transmitting harmful code or malware.

• Collecting personal information of others without consent.

• Engaging in fraudulent activity or misrepresentation of information.
